In short
This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, loads nothing from other services (fonts and video are served from this site) and has no forms. The only personal data involved is what any web server records, and anything you choose to send me by email.
Who is responsible
Chien-hua Huang, London, United Kingdom, and Vienna, Austria — chienhua.huang91@gmail.com. I am the controller of the personal data described here under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
Server logs
When you visit, the hosting provider automatically records technical information your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, the referring page, and browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR / GDPR). I do not use these logs to identify visitors or combine them with other data. I can see at most the last 7 days of logs; how long Hostinger itself keeps them is set out in its privacy policy (linked below).
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger (HOSTINGER, UAB, Švitrigailos str. 34, LT-03230 Vilnius, Lithuania, and its affiliates), which processes the server logs on my behalf. Hostinger stores data in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Lithuania or Cyprus, and serves the site through its content delivery network. See Hostinger’s privacy policy.
If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as the conversation needs. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (replying to you).
Links to other sites
Links to other sites (for example Turn-Motion) leave this site; their own privacy policies apply there.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its use, and ask for a copy in a portable format — email me. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at), in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), or the authority where you live.
Changes
If the site changes how it handles data — for example interactive features — this page will be updated before those features go live.
